Ladies Bible Study: Seamless

In 7 sessions, Seamless covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Whether you've grown up hearing Bible stories or you're exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming.

Experience the Bible as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture. Discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments.

Each week is accompanied by maps, general Bible facts, and word studies.

Please plan to join us for this great study. After the study concludes, we will get together and have a fun time of fellowship on week 8 to culminate our time together.

Tuesday Mornings: 9-11am will be lead by Brianna Bourgeois and hosted at her home. Email Brianna for more information.

Thursday Evenings: 7-9pm will be lead by Tami Mills and hosted in Sunnyvale. Email Tami for more information.

Saturday Worship & Sunday of Renewal

We're having a Weekend of Renewal as we continue preparations for our move. With the excitement and newness of making this move also comes the reality of all the work it will take to pull it off. The great truth is that we aren't working on our own...God is with us and ever present, leading the way!

So, why a weekend of renewal? Well, God says quite a bit about renewal in the Bible, and the pastors believe that it will be a good thing for us as we fully embark on this process of relocating our church campus.

Romans 12:1-2 tells us that we need to practice the renewing of our minds, in order that we may be better able to discern and live in a way that pleases God.

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

Our prayer is that as a church family we may be held together with a godly unity, that we will work together during this relocation process, and that through it all God will strengthen our resolve and commitment to being his church. That means that our personal desires or preferences will pale in comparison to our love for God, love for each other, and our love of spreading the gospel, and loving on those in our community.

Weekend of Renewal

1. Saturday Night Worship Service- We will meet at Life Community Church at 6pm for our weekend worship service. The pastor and staff have graciously given us permission to hold our service in their building. Why are we doing this? Because their facility has some similar features to the campus we are looking at building. Specifically, their main auditorium and lobby will give us a sense of the type of space we could have in our new building. This should be an exciting time as we look forward to what God is preparing to bless us with in a new church campus.

We will meet at 6pm for a combined worship service (everyone together). We will have access to their lobby, restrooms, and main auditorium.

After the service, everyone is encouraged to drive over to our property just across the highway (next to New Hope funeral home), and have a time of prayer together.

2. Sunday of Renewal- On Sunday, we will be encouraging every member to spend some special time in prayer. We are preparing a Renewal Guide to help us use this day for the purpose of spiritual renewal and unity for the whole church family.

It will be a great opportunity for families to rise together, maybe have a nice breakfast, devote themselves to the process of prayer and renewal, and even visit a friend's church service. Most importantly, we are asking God to do something in every single member's heart as we commit to unity in this relocation process.

Let this be our prayer, and the truth of God that we lean on..."8 There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours. 10 For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God."  Psalm 86:8 & 10

Easter Sunday & EGGSPLOSION 2017

Eggsplosion 2017.jpg

Everyone is invited to this special day at Berean! Bring your friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. and plan to have a great time together as we celebrate Easter Sunday!

Worship service will begin at 10:00am, but come early for some coffee and donuts from our cafe. The service will include exciting music and singing followed by a message from the Bible. Pastor Dave will share some of God's truths and help us engage with and apply those truths to our lives.

At the conclusion of the service, we will move outside for a HUGE egg hunt. All children 12 years of age and younger are welcome to participate. There will be a hunt for ages 1-3, 4-8, and 9-12. Don't worry. There will be plenty of eggs for everyone. Bring a basket if you have one, and be ready for a fun time.

You can also get your photo taken at our Easter Photo Booth before you leave. If you choose to be a guest with us on Easter Sunday, our hope is that you will leave feeling more like a friend of Berean.

If there is anything we can do for you while you are on our campus, please reach out. If you have any questions before attending, contact us now, and let us help.

Thanksgiving & S'mores

Each year our church gathers on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving for a special praise service. We celebrate God's goodness and share some of the praises from Him throughout the past year. We believe gratefulness is a great, godly attitude and it helps bring people together when we are all focusing on God and his bountiful blessings & provisions.

Join us at 7pm for a time of devotion and praise. Then, hang out with us and make some S'mores around the fire pits. We will have all the fixins for S'more and you are more than welcome to bring hotdogs to roast over the fire. The youngsters always love cooking over the open flames. Parents: please remember to monitor your children at the fire pits.

Sack Lunch Social

Too often our relationships {even as fellow Christians} tend to fall on the shallow end. We're all good to discuss the surface issues or life without really getting into those deeper heart issues. Our Sack Lunch Socials are great in that they help us deepen our understanding of one another, and connect on another level. It's always a special time to hear one of our own ladies share her story with us.

If you're a lady who enjoys a good gab session, great fellowship, encouragement with other ladies, and wants to know one another better, then this event is for you. Bring your lunch and grab a friend to come with you for this fun time.
